 Basic Patternmaking For Fashion Design

In this course, students will learn to take detailed body measurements and translate them onto paper in the forms of Front and Back Bodice Draft, Front and Back Skirt Draft, and the Sleeve Draft. These five drafts are the very foundation for creating unlimited designs using the Flat Pattern Method, which will then be applied for designing personal blouses, skirts and dresses.

" I loved my patternmaking class with Susan. Even after 40+ years of sewing, I learned so much. Most importantly, I think, Susan's class instilled a sense of confidence that I could take any pattern (including my own), alter it and make it fit me perfectly! Bravo!"
